Harmonic Gearbox CSF-50-160-2UH

The Harmonic Drive CSF-50-160-2UH coaxial cycloidal harmonic drive features a flexible spline that undergoes radial elastic deformation and has external teeth, and a wave generator located inside the flexible spline, which is elliptical in shape and has flexible rolling bearings on its outer ring.

Product Description

Typically, the harmonic generator is mounted on the input shaft, and the flexible gear is mounted on the output shaft to obtain a large gear reduction ratio.

During operation, the rigid gear 6 is fixedly installed, with the teeth evenly distributed around the circumference. The flexible gear 5, with a flexible outer ring of teeth 2, rotates along the rigid inner ring of teeth 3. The flexible gear has two fewer teeth than the rigid gear, so for every rotation of the flexible gear along the rigid gear, it rotates in the opposite direction by an angle corresponding to two teeth. The harmonic generator 4 has an elliptical profile (Harmonic Drive coaxial cycloidal harmonic CSF-50-160-2UH), and the ball bearings mounted on it support the flexible gear. The harmonic generator drives the flexible gear to rotate, causing it to undergo plastic deformation. During rotation, only a few teeth of the elliptical end of the flexible gear mesh with the rigid gear. Only in this way can the flexible gear freely rotate through a certain angle relative to the rigid gear. Usually, the rigid gear is fixed, the harmonic generator acts as the input, and the flexible gear is connected to the output shaft.

The cycloidal pinwheel drive is a new type of transmission developed on the basis of the pin-crank mechanism. In the 1980s, Japan developed a cycloidal pinwheel reduction gear for robot joints.

It consists of two parts: an involute cylindrical gear planetary reduction mechanism and a cycloidal pinwheel planetary reduction mechanism. The involute planetary gear 6 is integrated with the crank shaft 5 and acts as the input part of the cycloidal pinwheel transmission (Harmonic Drive coaxial cycloidal harmonic CSF-50-160-2UH). If the involute central gear 7 rotates clockwise, then the involute planetary gear rotates counterclockwise while revolving, and drives the cycloidal wheel to perform planar motion through the crank shaft. At this time, the cycloidal wheel is constrained by the pinwheel with which it meshes...
