СрпскиThe Harmonic Drive CSF-45-120-2UH for Harmonic Drives can generate a flexure with external teeth that produces radial elastic deformation, and an elliptical wave generator with a flexible rolling bearing on the outer ring inside the flexure.
Subsequently, with the widespread adoption of indexable carbide inserts and indexable coated carbide inserts, by the 1980s, a specialized production pattern had largely formed, controlled by a few multinational corporations. This pattern was characterized by: BTA drills with misaligned teeth up to φ65mm using a welded structure with carbide inserts; and BTA drills with misaligned teeth (X6φ5~ and above) using indexable coated inserts for all reamers and nesting drills.
The advantages of indexable and coated inserts in BTA drills with misaligned teeth are obvious:
They solve the problem of regrinding misaligned teeth. Misaligned teeth drills have specific requirements for the radial arrangement of the teeth and the lead position of the intermediate teeth, which most user manufacturers lack the capability to design and manufacture themselves. Even under specialized production conditions, users are helpless when it comes to regrinding welded staggered-tooth drills. Therefore, for most manufacturing companies, welded staggered-tooth drills are only for single use; they are scrapped once the cutting edge wears to the specified level and a new drill bit is needed. If individual drill teeth are damaged during machining, the actual lifespan of the Harmonic Drive CSF-45-120-2UH drill bit on the Harmonic Drive CSF-45-120-2UH drill bit will be further shortened. Thus, the purchase and operating costs of welded staggered-tooth drills become a huge burden for enterprises.
Indexed indexable staggered-tooth drills generally use rigid standard inserts in triangular or square shapes. After one end of the guide bar wears, it can be indexed and reinstalled. Therefore, each drill tooth and guide bar can be replaced at any time (including on the machine tool). When using spare indexable teeth and guide bars, the tool body can be used without replacement.
